 Remit

The primary roles of the Working Party are to provide advice on and to act as a focus for all aspects of road safety and traffic management in Scotland. The Group’s remit can be summarised as follows:

  • respond to draft regulations and policy documents
  • gather and disseminate information on good practice
  • act as a corporate forum for local authority practitioners
  • liase with the Scottish Executive
